I'm currently reading the book "Speak" by: Laurie Halse Anderson. The tragic story is about a girl named Melinda Sordino, who is a sudden Freshman outcast after a summer party gone wrong. The reason for being brutally rejected is later answered in the book. I think this is a terrific book, that should be read by any current highschooler!

I recently read the book "Tuesday's with Morrie." It was a quick, but worthwhile book, I found upon reading, the book really focuses on important life lessons. The protagonists of this story are Mitch Albom, and Morrie swartz, who immediately begin a special student-teacher relationship. Mitch eventually graduates from Brandeis University, where Morrie is a professor, about two years later he's sees a story in a newspaper about Morrie swartz. He learns that Morrie has been diagnosed with Lou Gherig's disease, which is a terminal illness. Mitch starts to visit Morrie every Tuesday to stay in touch and help him go through dying. The book is packed full of some of life's greatest lessons and the story of Morrie swartz. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves reading, not only because its a great book, but it has some great lessons.
